Since we only went to one brewery after our Bike n Brew tour we felt that we would need to take another day to fully explore the handful of breweries we didn't get to enjoy the day before. This time we cut the bike part out of the equation and only did the bus and brew parts. We got into Traverse City about 10 minutes before the breweries opened. We bided our time at an antique shop next door until The Workshop Brewing Company opened its doors. We thought that this would be a great place to take in the air show if that's what we were in town for. Unfortunately being so close to the beach, they were hit hard the day before and a few of their beers were out of stock. But we really enjoyed the ones we tasted and the homemade pretzels were amazing.

We then walked through the art show part of the Cherry Festival to Ferment. The beers were good but the atmosphere wasn't as welcoming. After one we moved onto Right Brain Brewery which was a nice little, but not too long, walk out of town. THIS beer was amazing! We both love the beer, the atmosphere and the staff. We stayed WAY longer than we wanted because we were having so much fun and we ended up doing a couple of flights and tried every one of their many amazing beers. If you head there please do yourself a favor and try the Thai spicy peanut beer. It is surprisingly good! We had just enough time to grab a quick draft at the Mackinaw Brewing Company on our way back to the bus station. We are very sad we didn't have time to try Rare Bird but hopefully we will be back! To top it off we found a brewery map of the state of Michigan so we can continue our brew tour with each town we visit!
