The Crew

Brady was born in Iowa and moved to Illinois when he was a kid. He has been interested in sailing for many years now. He loves to learn about everything (seriously everything), build things and is always there to lend a helping hand if needed. Currently he works for a web hosting company and is fortunate enough to work anywhere there is an internet connection.

Nadine was born and raised in Illinois. She loves to travel, dive, hang out with her friends and family and is always up for an adventure. She is currently working at a hospital as an RN. This profession will allow her to work hopefully anywhere in the world. She never had an interest in sailing but always loved the water and said why not when Brady brought up the idea of buying a boat!

We met while working at a pizza place, Bonnie Jeans, in Champaign, IL. From there we also worked together at the Illini Inn. The time was not right for us to get together so we continued to be friends over the years. Brady moved to Atlanta for 4 years and Nadine ended up living, working and traveling around the world for the same 4 years. In the fall of 2006 we both ended up in Chicago where we started hanging out again. Because of our mutual love for baseball we decided to buy season tickets to the Cubs together. After spending the 2007 baseball season together we realized that this was more than a friendship and the rest is history!

Tuco is the newest crew member to join our family. He is our 4 year old Frenchie who came to us from the French Bulldog Rescue Network. He joined our family in August of 2014 and lives up to his name. Tuco LOVES to play, go on long walks, play some more, and nap from time to time. He was first on Further the day after we picked him up and a week later we went off on our 2.5 week vacation. Thankfully he loves the boat and sailing almost as much as we do!

Elaine, our trusty black pug, who hopefully loved spending her last couple of years on the boat with us. One thing is certain, she never complained! She was an amazing old lady with a lot of personality and spunk. Elaine now watches our adventures from above and we hope she is happy now that she doesn't have to spend any more time on Further!

YOU! All of our family and friends are always welcome to join us for any of our sails. You do not need a formal invitation. Just let us know you want to come with so we don't leave without anyone! The more the merrier!
